The lab courses integrated into the curriculum provide early exposure to essential techniques, allowing students to develop hands-on skills from the start of their undergraduate studies. I was able to apply what I learned in my introductory-level laboratory classes and translate that knowledge into my experiential learning, where I worked in a research lab studying muscular dystrophy using a Zebrafish model.
My academic advisors and professors have been an incredible support system, offering valuable insights and unwavering encouragement throughout my time here.
They have always been willing to help, whether by advising on course selection for future semesters or guiding me in planning my post-graduate career.
Through my college experience, I’ve come to understand that success isn’t just about academics—it’s also about the people you meet, the opportunities you explore, and the willingness to step outside your comfort zone to try something new.
