2024 Symposium, Microbiology at Rutgers University

We are excited to announce that the annual Rutgers-wide Microbiology Symposium is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. Just like previous years, we will convene in Trayes Hall at the Douglass Student Center. The symposium serves as a platform to bring together microbiologists for a day filled with insightful speakers and student poster presentations This year’s symposium, jointly organized by the Departments of Biochemistry and Microbiology and Environmental Sciences, will focus on environmental microbiology.
One of the central components of the symposium is the poster session, which provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their research. If you're interested in presenting a poster, please submit your poster title using the registration link provided below to be included in the program.

Parking
Visitors may park in Lots 70 & Douglass Deck. Guests must use the below link to register for the event. Until this process is completed their vehicles are not registered and your guests may receive a citation. Special event parking and special event permits are only for visitors to the University which does not include free metered parking. Faculty, Staff, and Students must park only in lots they are authorized to park in.
