Suggested Course Sequence

As you plan your schedule each semester, please take the following into consideration:

  • If you follow the suggested sequence, General Microbiology (11:680:390) can be taken in the spring term of your second year.
  • You must pass General Microbiology with a minimum grade of C to satisfy prerequisite requirement for: 11:680:401, 11:680:491; 11:680:492; 11:680:494; 11:680:480 and 11:680:481.
  • Take into consideration that some required courses (and electives) may be offered in only one semester during the academic year.
  • No more than one course with a grade of D may be used to fulfill the Core Microbiology requirements of the major.
